I wrote and directed this short right after I graduated from film school. My intention was to apply my recently acquired knowledge and skills to a passion project, and "A Lover's Last Spat" did just that. 

Once I finished writing, I immediately entered the casting process. I, first, set-up a room at my college for casting calls but quickly moved on to accepting self-taped auditions instead. In three weeks, I found my two amazing actors, Andrea Sweeney and Chris Goodwin.

Since I didn't have much of a budget, I had to wear a lot of hats, acting as producer, director of photography, location scouter, cameraman, and so on. Unfortunately, I delegated sound to a sophomore and had to pay the price, but the entire process was a great learning experience. 

Below you'll find the script. In it, you will find the adage, "Films are made in the editing room." to be very true.
